Gunmen attack Missionary Students returning from Evangelism in Jos, victims escape with injuries

Three missionary students of TCNN, Bukuru, Jos, including Joshua Ata Danlami and another identified as “Brother Pius” were reportedly attacked by unknown gunmen while returning from an evangelism outreach on April 8, 2026.

According to available information, the incident occurred in Jos, Plateau State, as the students were making their way back from their religious assignment. The assailants allegedly opened fire on them, triggering panic and leaving the victims with varying degrees of injuries.

Fortunately, no lives were lost in the attack, as the students managed to escape despite sustaining injuries. They are currently receiving medical attention.

The incident has once again heightened concerns over the deteriorating security situation in Plateau State, with residents calling on authorities to urgently strengthen measures to protect lives and property.
