The Federal Government has commissioned 12 Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) retail compressed natural gas (CNG) in Abuja and Lagos States.
This was disclosed in a post on via NNPC’s X handle on Thursday, July 4.
The post reads: “Earlier today, the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), commissioned some NNPC Retail Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Stations in Abuja, as part of the 12 CNG Stations simultaneously commissioned in Lagos and Abuja, on Thursday.
“The Board Chairman, NNPC Ltd, Chief Pius Akinyelure; GCEO NNPC Ltd, Mallam Mele Kyari; Chairmen of the Senate and House of Representatives on Gas; other NNPC Senior NNPC Management and several other dignitaries were present to witness yet another major step towards delivering a cleaner, cheaper and more sustainable energy source for Nigerians.”
