President Bola Tinubu is currently meeting with governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, Abuja.
According to a report by The Punch, the meeting, initially scheduled for 4 p.m. at the Council Chamber, commenced at about 5 p.m. after the venue was moved to the Conference Room of the President’s Office.
Governors in attendance include Prof. Babagana Zulum (Borno), Hope Uzodimma (Imo), Inuwa Yahaya (Gombe), Hyacinth Alia (Benue), Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti), Peter Mbah (Enugu), and AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara), among others.
Some states are represented by their deputy governors.
The purpose of the meeting had not been disclosed as of the time of filing this report.
