Some travelers traveling in two vehicles – a Toyota Corolla and a white Highlander jeep were intercepted and marched into the bush by gunmen between Ondo and Ekiti States last Thursday evening.
PathfinderNews gathered that the incident took place between Ikere Ekiti and Iju in Ondo State.
The number of travellers is still unknown but an account stated that the gunmen shot sporadically at the vehicles and forced the drivers to stop.
As of the time of writing this report, it is not certain if the families of those in the vehicles have been contacted for ransom.
The PathfinderNews gathered that personnel of the Nigeria Police Force, Ondo State Command, and Ondo Amotekun are tracking the kidnappers.
