BREAKING: Port Harcourt Refinery commences production?

Olufemi Soneye, the spokesperson of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), disclosed on Tuesday that Nigeria’s owned Port Harcourt Refinery which has been moribund for a long time has commenced processing crude oil production.

According to him, the refinery has kicked off with 24 percent capacity.

He noted that the Refinery is processing 60,000 barrels per day of crude.

The Port Harcourt refinery has a combined 250,000 barrels per day capacity.

This comes after several failed commencement deadlines.
