Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain and governorship aspirant in Ekiti 2026 governorship election, Otunba Peter Olu Obafemi, has rejoiced with the Osun State governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, who celebrates two years in office today.
Pouring encomium on Governor Adeleke, Obafemi described him as a very hard-working, intelligent, and brilliant person whom God sent to rescue Osun people from “the dungeon of slavery and poverty which the past All Progressives Congress (APC)-led government had put the state.”
Obafemi stated further that “Since Governor Adeleke assumed office, he has changed the face of the state; the workers are collecting their salaries and entitlements regularly; workers are being promoted based on merit and regularly; and pensioners are getting their allowances monthly.
“The standard of living of people in the state has improved, compared to when they were under ‘ijoba amunisin.’
“Governor Adeleke has just approved the new minimum wage for Osun workers. The former APC government would reduce the wages to half salary because it never cared about the well-being of the people.”
“I congratulate Governor Adeleke, a
a very hard-working, intelligent, and brilliant person whom God sent to rescue the Osun people from the dungeon of slavery and poverty.
“The Almighty God will continue to guide him, grant him good health to be a blessing to the people of Osun State, people of the South-West and Nigeria in Jesus’ name.”
