Tragedy struck in Lagos as a shootout between the police and a group of kidnappers resulted in the death of nine individuals.
Among the nine individuals include a up-and-coming Nollywood actor and a producer.
The actor, who was based in Port Harcourt, and the producer, identified as Prince Henry Ode, were reportedly involved in kidnapping activities.
The police fatally shot the suspects during a confrontation.
The incident has sent shockwaves through the Nollywood community, with many expressing disbelief and sadness over the tragic turn of events.”
