Dealers under the aegis of the Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria (MOMAN) have registered with the Dangote Petroleum Company to lift petroleum products produced by the $20bn plant.
The seven major marketers include 11 Plc, Conoil Plc, Ardova Plc, MRS Oil Nigeria Plc, OVH Energy Marketing Limited, Total Nigeria Plc and NNPC Retail.
Recalled that the Dangote Group announced last Friday that production of petroleum products in Dangote Refinery would commence production of diesel and aviation fuel by the end of January.
The Major Oil Marketers also they would begin the distribution of fuel products from Dangote Refinery immediately agreement is reached on certain terms.
Equally, the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) and the Petroleum Products Retail Outlets Owners Association of Nigeria (PETROAN) told the Pathfinder Reporter Reporter of the meeting going on between and Dangote Oil to discuss terms of product supply.
While announcing the readiness of the product Oil to commence production of petroleum products this month, the President of the Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, in a statement issued by the firm last Sunday thanked President Bola Tinubu for his support, encouragement, and advice towards the actualization of the project.
He also thanked the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission, Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority, and Nigerians for their support for the actualization of the historic project.
