Married Women in the Act of Lesbianism

By Adekunle Lawal

The grip of decadence in the Nigerian society is overwhelmingly distasteful. Alarmingly, there is a rot in
our cultural beliefs eroded by Western influence and propaganda.
To preserve our culture, we must stand firm on the institutions laid by our forebears.
On 18 July 2025, at a popular Hotel in Owoduni Street, Bariga, Lagos, two ladies walked in to ask the
receptionist for a room.
They were in their late thirties; there was no reason for alarm. The receptionist promptly ushered them to the room after they had paid.
Of course, it is not uncommon for same sex people who are relatives to share a room. The cleaner,
an elderly woman in her mid-fifties, heard someone moaning from the room. Out of curiosity, she
approached the door closer, and the sound intensified. She had seen two ladies enter the room.
She reported the incident to her supervisors, who notified the manager.
When our reporter asked the manager (name withheld) to confirm the story, he reaffirmed what we had heard earlier from our sources.
He said the two ladies had lodged and were having sex, which was against company policy. When we
asked for the names, according to the register, one was Olabisi Jibunoh, who also showed us
photographs of the ladies.
They were lucky not to be lynched, as the news had filtered into the neighborhood.
When accused of the crime, she denied that she was a married woman with children.
They were fortunate to have been rescued by one of the passers-by.
The real dangers are everywhere in society. There are many Olabisi Jibunoh who are also married and involved in same sex orgies. It is time for the government to take a serious approach on same sex activities in Nigeria.
On 1 September 2025, a Lagos cleric raised the alarm over the increasing rate of same sex cases in
Nigeria (source insidenews.com.ng/).
Similarly, on 27 October 2023, it was reported that 76 people were arrested for same-sex offences.
At the time of writing this, nothing has been heard of this case.
The government has to show more conviction to show its seriousness against this malaise.
Olabisi Jibunoh was not arrested on that day. This is sad, and how many of her type remain in society
soiling our traditions, culture, and religious beliefs based on Western influences.
