Gbemisola Akayinode, 36, a Nigerian woman living in US who allegedly murdered her 9- year-old daughter, Oluwasikemi, has been arrested by the authorities in Texas.
According to the police, the toddler died after being left inside a not car by Akayinode while she went to work at a manufacturing plant in Galena Park, near Houston, on a day when temperatures reached 99 degrees.
According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the child’s death was ruled a homicide caused by hyperthermia (heat stroke).
Investigations revealed that Oluwasikemi was left in the vehicle for more than eight hours on July 1,
