The Nigeria Police Force has transferred its Force Police Public Relations Officer (FPPRO), DCP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, to the Delta State Command.

Adejobi, who was just being elevated to the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police, according to the police authorities, was redeployed to Delta State as DCP Operations due to his wealth of experience in public communication, operational management, and community policing.

The source said, “The deployment of officers is a normal administrative procedure in the Nigeria Police Force. DCP Adejobi’s record of professionalism, commitment, and service excellence made him a natural fit for this crucial operational responsibility.”

As DCP Operations, Delta State, Adejobi will be responsible for coordinating security operations, tackling violent crimes, and strengthening police-community relations across the state, which has been a critical theater in Nigeria’s internal security architecture.

His elevation further underscores the Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to merit-based career progression and effective deployment of its finest officers to areas where their expertise is most required.
