Please, share this story:

The Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress(NLC) in Ekiti State, Comrade Olatunde Kolapo has ordered workers in Ekiti State to down tools as the NLC/TUC indefinite nationwide strike begins today.

Olatunde gave the order on Sunday evening through a circular he signed and sent to all the leaders of affiliate unions in the state, charging them to ensure full compliance with the national strike as directed by the national body of the NLC.

He however warned that any affiliate union that failed to comply with the directive would be treated as saboteur.

Kolapo urged all the workers in Ekiti State to stay at home until further directive from the national body.

He instructed all leaders of the affiliate unions to assemble at the NLC Secretariat as early as 8:00am this morning for monitoring of the showdown.
