Makinde constitutes Oyo TESCOM Board, appoints chairperson

Oyo State governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, has inaugurated a new board for the state Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) with the appointment of a chairperson and members.

According to a letter by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, those appointed to the Oyo TESCOM Board included:

Mrs. Olubukola Oladipo (Chairperson), while the members are Mr. Banji Ranmi Ogungbaro, Mrs. Oluwatoyin Ajibola, Mrs. Ariyo Ameenat Ayokunnu, Afolabi Olusola Joshua, Rasaq Mustapha and Mr Isaq Gbadegesin.

The governor, while congratulating the new appointees, counseled them to see their appointment as a call to service.

As stated in a press release by Dr Sulaimon Olanrewaju, the Special Adviser (Media) to Governor Makinde, all the appointments into Oyo TESCOM are with immediate effect.

In a related development, the Oyo State governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, had, on Monday, announced some appointments to the Oyo State Civil Service Commission and the Oyo State Advisory Council.

The governor re-appointed Alhaji Aderibigbe Kamoru Abiodun as chairman of the Commission.

He also reappointed the duo of Alhaji Kolajo Isiaq Adewale and Mr. Olutoyin Adedeji Akanmu as full-time members of the commission.

Governor Makinde appointed Pastor Taiwo Oluwagbemiro and Oladimeji Oladapo as part-time members of the Commission.

As stated in a letter by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, Makinde has equally appointed Alhaji Rasaki Gbadegesin, former Deputy Chief of Staff to former Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala, as a member of the Oyo State Advisory Council.

He also appointed the immediate past chairman of the Oyo TESCOM, Pastor Akinade Alamu, as a member of the Council.

The governor charged the new appointees to discharge their duties to the state with absolute loyalty, dedication, and commitment.
