The Asipa Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Abiodun Kola-Daisi, visited the Olubadan-designate, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, in his Lagos home on Monday.
Welcoming him to his residence, Oba Ladoja noted that like himself, Asipa Olubadan Kola-Daisi was not in Ibadan when the 43rd Olubadan, Oba Ige Owolabi Olakulehin passed on.
Oba Ladoja extolled the virtues of the departed monarch, saying death is the inevitable end of every living thing.
He noted that the impact we put into life is what ultimately matters at the end of the day.
According to him, Kabiyesi Olakulehin lived an impactful life and gave a good account of himself.
He prayed to God to rest his soul and comfort his family.
Earlier, the Asipa Olubadan, Oba Kola Daisi, had condoled Kabiyesi Olubadan-designate, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, over the exit of the 43rd Olubadan.
He also congratulated Oba Ladoja on his emergence as the next Olubadan.
He pledged his loyalty and support to him in his efforts to make life more abundant for the Ibadan people.
Oba Ladoja concluded by saying that there would be no delay in filling every pending vacancy in the Olubadan chieftaincy line.
