Please, share this story:
Ekiti State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Caretaker Committee Chairman, Chief Dare Adeleke, has charged the leaders of the party across the 177 wards in the state to brace up and ensure that ward meetings are organized in their various places.
Adeleke also urged the party leaders to ensure unity among members before, during, and after the forthcoming ward congress in
the state.
The chairman stated this during a meeting with party leaders in Ado Ekiti last weekend.
He encouraged leaders to “embrace one another to have stability in our political environment.”
He said he appreciated the leaders and stakeholders across the 16 local government areas of the state for their “unwavering support for our great party, PDP,” promising to do all within his capacity to return the party to the winning way.
He frowned at “individuals and groups who are the agents of All Progressives Congress (APC) within our great party, the PDP, and whose agenda is to destabilize and weaken PDP so that APC can have their way in the next gubernatorial election in Ekiti State.”
Adeleke maintained that the current government led by the APC in Ekiti State had failed the people of the state, challenging Governor Biodun Oyebanji to “come in the open and justify the huge allocation he has been receiving from the federation account.”
