The Federal University, Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has appointed Dr. Sunday Saanu as its new Director of Communication and Corporate Affairs.
The university’s Registrar, Mr. Mufutau Ibrahim, confirmed the appointment in a statement on Monday.
Dr. Saanu, a seasoned journalist and communication expert, brings extensive experience from both public and private universities.
Dr. Saanu previously served as Media Assistant to four vice chancellors at the University of Ibadan and later built a strong reputation at Ajayi Crowther University (ACU), Oyo.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communication and Language Arts, a Master of Communication Arts (MCA), a Master of Arts (MA), and a PhD in Cultural and Media Studies from the University of Ibadan.
A member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, Dr. Saanu is recognized for his resilience, resourcefulness, and compelling writing style, which FUOYE expects will strengthen the university’s communication and public relations initiatives.
