PVC Registration: Ekiti governorship aspirant, Otunba Obafemi urges people to register

As the nationwide Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) exercise as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officially commence on Monday, 18th August, 2025, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Otunba Olugbenga Peter Obafemi (OPO), has urged people of Ekiti State to come out enmass to register for the permanent voter’s card.

According to a press statement made available to the journalists in Ado Ekiti on Monday by the OPO Media Vanguard, Otunba Obafemi who is a PDP governorship aspirant in the 2026 Ekiti Governorship Election reminded the people that changing a bad government and replacing it with a good government can only be done through voting, adding that only people armed with voter’s card can participate in the exercise.

The leading governorship aspirant urged the people particularly those yearning for the return of PDP government to come out enmass to register.

Otunba Obafemi while enlightening the Ekiti people said “It is your civic right to vote.
‎Don’t disenfranchise yourself.
‎Get your voter’s card ready so that you can vote decisively for our great Party, the PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC PARTY (PDP) in 2026.
‎Your PVC is your power.
Go get it now!”

According to the INEC, the Online Pre-Registration begins August 18, 2025 via cvr.inecnigeria.org.
‎ In-Person Registration starts August 25, 2025 at all INEC offices nationwide.

‎Replace a lost or damaged PVC

‎Transfer your registration due to relocation.
