The regrouped expelled chieftains of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led by the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike has summoned emergency meeting to the party’s National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja.

The PDP on Saturday suspended the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike, Senator Samuel Anyanwu and other members loyal to the FCT minister.

Their expulsion was announced during the just concluded National Elective Convention that took place in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

However, a notice issued on Monday by the factional National Secretary of the party, Samuel Anyanwu called for an emergency meeting barely 48 hours after their expulsion.

The notice urged members of the National Executive Council (NEC) and Board of Trustees (BoT) to attend the meeting scheduled for Tuesday.

The notice stated that “attendance is very important as crucial matters will be discussed and addressed”.
