The management of Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti has debunked insinuations about fear of insecurity in the school.
The institution gave the assurance in a statement issued by it’s Deputy Registrar/Head, Directorate of Information and Corporate Affairs, Dr. Bode Olofinmuagun, on Tuesday, saying; “EKSU is safe.”
“The attention of the management of Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti has been drawn to a trending video that is generating security concerns.
“The management wishes to reiterate that Ekiti State University is safe and well secured, as there is no cause for alarm.
“The management will not take the security of its students and staff for granted, as the security agencies, along with the security unit of the university are on red alert to forestall any security breach.
“Parents, guardians, staff and the students of the university are advised to remain calm,” the statement read.
