



A book titled ” From Pagan Home to Priesthood Sanctuary,” an autobiography of Pastor Samuel Adeleye Ogungbemi, was unveiled on Saturday March 8, 2025, at the Faculty of Arts, Room 32, University of Ibadan.
Pastor Ogungbemi, a former chief accountant of the Scripture Union, revealed that due to his love for writing, he had written about one hundred articles that had been published in national newspapers.
The minister stated that he developed writing skills as far back as 1965 at the age of 14 and was in Modern School.
According to Pastor Ogungbemi, who is a children’s teacher of the Christ Apostolic Church, his initial plan was to write a book on the history of the children’s department in Christ Apostolic Church, Ibadanland, but somebody advised him to incorporate his life history in the write-up.
He said, ” I did not waste time on the matter but quickly took to the golden advice and this led me to write this book titled “From Pagan Home to Priesthood Sanctuary,” an autobiography of Pastor Samuel Adeleye Ogungbemi.
Pastor Ogungbemi stated that his life story, success, and challenges contained in the book are very interesting and a good lesson to learn from.
Many important dignitaries, mostly from the Christian domain, attended the book launch program.
The book’s price is N5,000, cheaper than the book.
