Obaseki raises minimum wage to N70,000

The Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki may have set the ball rolling to accede to the labour’s demand for wage increase as he announced increment in the minimum wage for workers in the state from N40,000 to N70,000.

The governor made the announcement at the inauguration of the newly built ultra-modern Labour House secretariat complex for labour unions in the state, along Temboga Road, Ikpoba-Hill, Benin City.
