NEW YEAR MESSAGE BY OTUNBA PETER OBAFEMI, PDP FRONTLINE GOVERNORSHIP ASPIRANT IN 2026 ELECTION.
Ekiti Kete,
May I, on behalf of my family, humbly express profound gratitude to God Almighty for the grace and favor bestowed on the good people of Ekiti State and Nigerians as a whole to witness yet another brand new year, 2025.
The year 2025 is the year we are going to commence the process of liberating and rebuilding our beloved state, Ekiti.
I am a firm believer in Ekiti State. I am confident that with focused planning and judicious deployment of the financial, human, and material resources of our state, Ekiti will rise again.
I am committed to serving the people and making life more meaningful for the downtrodden and neglected segments; I assure you of my continued support and selfless services to the state.
I wish to congratulate the entire people of Ekiti State for this brand New Year that God has made possible for us to see.
I also wish to urge our people, most importantly leaders, members, and supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to remain calm and focused and keep hope alive in the New Year because I am confident that the will of God will prevail on our dear state.
I dare say with assurance that God is interested in our state and I have faith that He will not let our people down. When, by His grace, our efforts are crowned, we shall,l, together, rebuild our state and restore our value.
I, therefore, wish to encourage all PDP leaders and members across the state to truly get involved and actively participate in the process that will bring a genuine change to our state in the year 2026.
It is my prayer that, in 2025, our individual and collective aspirations will be fulfilled. I also urge us, as we embrace the new year, to embrace unity, honesty, patriotism, and love amongst ourselves. May we not forget, that for us to truly succeed, we have to succeed together.
This, as a matter of urgency, is an express call to duty; to LIBERATE our state and make it work again. These can only be achieved through our selfless and deliberate resolve to attain new heights.
