The Chairman of Ido/Osi Local Government Area of Ekiti State, Hon. Bamidele Omoleye, has congratulated the State Governor, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, on his recognition as Man of the Year by Silverbird Television.
Oyebanji on Sunday, in Lagos, received the prestigious Silverbird Man of the Year award at a ceremony where Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah received the Governors of the Year award.
The council boss described the award as a fitting tribute to the Governor’s exceptional leadership, which he said has significantly transformed Ekiti State through the implementation of his peoples’ oriented policies, robust governance, and inclusiveness in all strata of his administration.
Omoleye noted that the Governor’s developmental efforts across critical sectors such as education, healthcare, agriculture, infrastructure, and inclusive governance, among others, had set a benchmark for purposeful governance and set the state on the path of sustainable growth, making him a deserving recipient of the prestigious Silverbird Man of the Year Award.
He commended the Governor for his visionary approach to governance, which he said has brought remarkable progress in infrastructure, education, health care, and economic empowerment to all sectors in the state.
According to him, “the award reflects the Governor’s relentless commitment to inclusive development and his ability to connect with the aspirations of Ekiti people both home and in the diaspora”.
“This honor by SilverBird Television underscores the governor’s tireless efforts to position Ekiti State as a beacon of excellence in governance,” he stated.
Omoleye further urged the governor to see the recognition as a testament to his good governance and his popularity in the state.
He assured the Governor of the unwavering support of all well-meaning individuals in the Local Government area to enable him to steer the Ship of the State to a safe harbor.
