Nollywood actress Faithia Balogun has announced that her late mother, Gloria Williams, will be buried on March 7.
The actress shared the burial arrangements via her Instagram page, revealing that a wake-keep will hold on Friday, March 6, followed by interment and lying-in-state on Saturday, March 7.
A Thanksgiving Mass is scheduled for Sunday, March 8, at St. Monica Catholic Church.
Faithia stated that the ceremonies would be strictly private, limited to close friends and family members by invitation only.
She added that a later date would be announced for a larger public burial ceremony to accommodate others who wish to pay their respects.
“I want to specifically thank everyone who has reached out since the demise of my dear mother. I’m truly grateful for the emotional support, the calls, the visits and the show of love. May Allah (SWT) bless you all,” she wrote.
She also warned that admission into the venue would only be granted through designated invitation channels.
The actress had earlier announced her mother’s passing last month, describing her as her “cheerleader, prayer warrior, best friend and gist partner.”
