Please, share this story:
Former Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir E-Rufai finally joined the African Democratic Party (ADC) as he collected the party’s membership card at Ungwar Sarki Ward, Kaduna, Kaduna State on Thursday.
The former governor was accompanied by a large crowd of supporters to the party’s office.
The large number of supporters accompanying him included his former appointees and loyalists.
This development comes barely 48 hours after former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar registered as a member of the opposition party.
El-Rufai, Atiku, Rotimi Amaechi and other opposition leaders, plotting to challenge and remove President Bola Ahmed Tinubu through the ballot box in 2027 have adopted the ADC as their platform for the forthcoming elections.
What E-Rufai has done showed that he has dumped the Social Democratic Party (SDP) which he joined shortly after leaving the ruling All Progress Congress (APC) due to irreconcilable differences.
