Kidnappers have demanded two girls as ransom before the remains of a middle age lady, who was earlier abducted and raped to death in Ekiti State, could be released to her family.
Information gathered by FTN revealed that residents of six villages of Itapaji, Iyemero, Oke-Ako, Irele, Ijowa and Ipao in Ajoni LCDA of the State ,are in palpable fear about the activities of the hoodlums.
The kidnappers were reported to equally demanded a cash sum of ₦1.5m; drug substance,canadian loud and cocaine, Mkpuru Mmiri, and cartons of beer before they can elease the corpse.
The villagers were said to have raised the cash sum but could not provide the drug substances on the premise that they do not know where to buy it.
However, the brave men that went to deliver the money were equally abducted by the terrorists.
They kidnappers made a fresh demand, asking the villagers, to send two virgin girls as ransom before the remains of the lady could be released, or the people in their captivity be killed.
The communities, therefore, called on all security agencies to act fast on the matter, before they took laws into their hands.
