A Federal Capital Territory (FCT), High Court Judge Thursday ordered the arrest of the factional national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) Kabiru Turaki, following his failure to appear before the court in a case filed by the Inspector-General of Police, Mr Olatunji Disu.
Justice U.P. Kekemeke, while issuing the order, held that Turaki had no justification for failing to appear before the court.
The IGP had filed a one-count charge against Turaki for allegedly providing false information to the police in a petition dated October 2022.
PDP has been engulfed in crises, leading to defection of many party men and women, including governors, senators and other bigwigs.
