Hon. Prince Fabuyi Aina Biodun (F.A.B) has officially announced his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Yewa North/Imeko-Afon Federal Constituency in Ogun State ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking with journalists in Abeokuta, Fabuyi reiterated his commitment to delivering quality representation to the people of the constituency. He explained that his decision to join the race is driven by a genuine desire to serve and contribute meaningfully to the development of the area.
Prince Fabuyi is an experienced politician who has played a significant role in the growth and development of the Ketu zone in Yewa North State Constituency, Yewa North Local Government Area, Ogun State, and Nigeria at large.
Over the years, he has occupied several strategic political positions. He served as Director of Planning, Research, and Strategy for the Ibrahim Gbadamosi Babangida (IBB) Vision 2007 project in Ogun State. He was also the Campaign Coordinator for General Aliyu Gusau, a former National Security Adviser, during the 2011 presidential election in Ogun State. In 2019, he served in the same capacity for Senator Ahmed Makarfi, a former Governor of Kaduna State.
Additionally, in 2023, he worked as Campaign Coordinator for former Senate President, Anyim Pius Anyim, in Ogun State, among other roles.
Fabuyi also served multiple times as a member of the National Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), contributing to various assignments aimed at strengthening the party. He was equally a member of the Ogun State Executive Committee of the PDP.
A prominent figure within the PDP before his defection, Fabuyi held several national responsibilities, including serving as a National Committee Chairman in different states and participating in numerous party assignments across the country.
He later defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) shortly before the 2023 general elections, following a closed-door meeting with the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
With a clear vision for effective representation, Fabuyi Aina is now preparing to contest the 2027 House of Representatives election for Yewa North/Imeko-Afon Federal Constituency alongside other aspirants.
Hon. Prince Fabuyi Aina Biodun was born at Fabuyi Compound in Owode Ketu, Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State. He had his primary and secondary education within the locality before proceeding to study Marketing at the former Ogun State Polytechnic, Ojere—now known as Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta.
In addition to his political career, he is a successful businessman with operations in Abeokuta and Owerri, and he has travelled widely both within and outside Nigeria.
As the 2027 elections draw closer, political observers are advised to watch closely as Hon. Prince Fabuyi Aina Biodun (F.A.B) emerges as a strong contender for the Yewa North/Imeko-Afon Federal Constituency seat.
