The governorship primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ekiti State, will take place today.
According to the State Chairman of the party and former acting governor, Mr. Tunji Odeyemi, the chairman of the primary election committee, Senator Ibrahim Dankwabo, a former governor, and his team have arrived in the state.
Odeyemi said that the primary election, which he expected to be free and fair, will take place at Vino Event Center, Afao Road, Ado Ekiti.
The four aspirants are Otunba Olugbenga Peter Obafemi, Dr. Wole Oluyede, Mrs. Funmilayo Ogun, and Mr. Funso Ayeni.
According to the time table of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the governorship primaries in Ekiti State must end on Monday November 10, 2025.
