Please, share this story:

If Otunba Olugbenga Peter Obafemi is elected as governor of Ekiti State, he would provide job opportunities to solve the problem of joblessness and idleness in the state.

Kunle Ogunjobi, the director-general of the Olugbenga Peter Obafemi Campaign Organization, stated this in Ado Ekiti on Thursday while addressing some youths who paid a visit to the campaign secretariat at Ajilosun.

Ogunjobi told the visitors that Otunba Obafemi was the man needed now as governor to rescue the state from plunderers.

He told the youths numbering 60 that Otunba Obafemi would use his connection to bring in investors to establish industries and provide employment to the teeming youths roaming the streets.

Ogunjobi said, “Ekiti is a civil service state and the largest employer of labor. But Otunba Obafemi will change the situation by bringing in investors who are willing to partner with Obafemi should he become governor of the state. Insecurity is mostly caused by idleness.

“I want to appeal to the PDP to give Obafemi the governorship ticket to bring transformation to Ekiti State.”

Speaking earlier, Mr. Oluwole Adigun, who led the youths, said they had come to pledge their support for the governorship ambition of Otunba Obafemi.

He said, “We are here to identify with Otunba Obafemi and pledge our support. We are going to sensitize the youths to register for the permanent voter’s card because we want the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) government again in Ekiti.

“We have tasted PDP and APC governments; we have seen the difference. The PDP must come back to power; we are going to use our numerical strength as youth for this to happen.
