The Federal Government has declared Tuesday, July 15, 2025, as a public holiday in honour of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, who passed away on Sunday.
The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, on Monday announced the holiday on behalf of the Federal Government, following the approval of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The remains of the former president would be buried in his country home, Daura in Katsina State on Tuesday.
