The Alawe of Ilawe-Ekiti HRM Oba Adebanji Ajibade Alabi, AFUNTADE 1, has congratulated the Governor of Ekiti State His Excellency,Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on the Man Of The Year Award given to him by the Silverbird Communications.
The Silverbird TV Organization last Sunday in Lagos named Governor Oyebanji as the Silverbird Man of the year 2024.
Reacting to the the development in his palace in Ilawe-Ekiti on Monday March 17, 2025, Oba Alabi who is a former Chairman of Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers noted that prestigious award has further shown that Governor Oyebanji’s pragmatic political and administrative acumen in the governance of Ekiti have been widely noted and accepted with particular reference to grassroots development.
The Alawe was of the belief that the award came as a result of the Governor’s dedication to good and inclusive governance in Ekiti State and his ability to bring good dividends to nooks and cranies of Ekiti State through infrastructural developments.
“I believe this outstanding accomplishment is just the beginning of more laurels to come in your political journey because of your ability to quickly find innovative solutions to issues in Ekiti State which is being admired by many people in Ekiti and Nigeria at large .
“The outstanding performance of the Governor so far is commendable and worth celebrating ,I therefore do not hesitate to congratulate him on this prestigious and worthy award of the MAN OF THE YEAR bestowed on his Excellency, the Governor of Ekiti State ” ,the Alawe declared.
