The government and people of Akwa Ibom State have again been thrown into mourning as Blessing, the daughter of Akwa Ibom Deputy Governor, Senator Akon Eyakenyi, has died.
Blessing and her husband, Olumuyiwa Adewumi, got married on June 22, 2024.
According to the Leadership, Blessing d! ed from complications during childbirth in a hospital in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Condolences from State Government officials, politicians, and friends have been pouring in for the bereaved family since the sad news broke on Monday night, January 27.
Recall that the state’s First Lady, Mrs Umo Eno died few months again.
